Tongue Problem

I apologize for sending another message but no one had posted anything today so I hope it's okay.  I posted yesterday about the lump on my tongue.  It's gotten worse, I've attached a link to a picture which I hope you can look at.  It's magnified in a mirror and is not really that large.  I have no insurance which is why I'm hesitant to go to the oral surgeon and really can't afford it.  Should I wait a few more days to see if it heals?

I  am sorry but a could not view the lesion on your tongue. I think you can wait a few days to see if it resolves itself but I think that you should get a diagnosis so if it occurs again you know what to expect.

Dr. if you get a chance please take a look at http://www.myspace.com/80388727 the pic is on there.  The swelling seems to be going down so I guess that's a good sign, I've just never experienced anything like this before.  I don't have health insurance or else I would have been to the dentist already.
