Root canals----sometimes they work and sometimes they don't------------it is an option to try.....but if in case it does not work out for you....pull out the tooth and get a bridge.
you will be more uncomfortable keeping your mouth open for a long period of time than from the actual procedure. your dentist will make sure you are very numb. you will feel pressure and hear a bit of noise (i bring my ipod). if you are very nervous your dentist can give you valium to relax you a bit. most people dont need to be put to sleep for this procedure.
