Hi,
I'm not sure how it would be related but upper wisdom teeth are close to the sinus.  It's possible some swelling from the surgery has affected the sinus cavity.  The sinus is just an empty space and dental swelling can fill it slightly. That may be the pressure you are feeling.

As for going on a plane, I can't tell you that.  It would be best to contact your oral surgeon and ask.  Having your sinuses stuffed up and increasing pressure when a plane goes up can give you an earache, but it's usually not harmful.  It's like flying with a cold.

If swelling is the problem, taking OTC ibuprofen, if you can, can help with the inflammation.

GOOD LUCK and best to you,
Gellia
