Wisdom teeth extraction, then chronic headache sets in...

Hello, On April 1st of this year (2005) I had my wisdom teeth removed at age 27.  About a month after that, I was healing up nicely but suddenly I developed a rather severe and chronic, intractable, 24/7 headache.  It changes in intensity very little if at all day and night.  It is mostly centered just above my nose in between my eyes over those small sinuses, and tension and pressure spreads all over my forehead and the top of my head feels like it has a 100 pound weight sitting on it.

I have had theories of nasal pain from swolen turbinates (vasomotor), cranial hypertension issues, or other neurological issues, however I have had a thorough neuro exam including an MRI and MRA of my brain and neck, with negative results.  I also have episodic trouble with violent positional vertigo type dizziness.

So I don't know if this could be related, but it seems awfully suspicious that it started a month or so after. I was awake during the removal and remember the Oral Surgeon used a device that seems to grind away violently at my lower teeth and then he pryed my teeth out and I felt enormous pressure in my skull when he did.  Could a nerve or blood vessel have been damaged in some way?  I don't have any numbness or tingling anywhere around my jaws or mouth.  No jaw pain either, but my neck does make a "squishing" sound when I move it around, that was never there before.

I would thank you kindly to offer me some thoughtful advice since I was caught with no insurance and I'm becoming so frustrated.

PS-also, what is your take on silver/mercury fillings can they cause this

I have the exact same type headache. I know if I go to the dr. they are going to say it's sinus related, but nothing is fixing this. I've tried tons of sius medicine and nothing will take this pressure away. I've only had it for two days now, but It feels like my face is going to implode. I can't even lay down. I had an impacted wisdom tooth and the molar next to it removed (had an infection that spread to teh jawbone).

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
I do not think these symtoms are related to your extractions. It seems to me that is a medical problem that has to be addressed. I also think that there is no connection with any silver fillings and your symptoms.
