Pain originating in empty #14 socket

Two years ago and a few weeks subsequent to having a lower tooth removed (to give the other teeth more room) and an upper #14 prepped for a cap I began to have sharp pains up the side of my head (Head of Vanderbilt Neurosurgery and St. Thomas Neurologist ruled out Trigeminal Neuralgia. They said if we had to put a name on it, call it Trigeminal Neuropathic Pain). It was decided #14 had to be pulled but afterward it was discovered than #14 root extended into the sinus. This was repaired and the pain went away for about 9 months. The pain returned. It was repaired again and a culture was taken of the soft tissue which indicated no infection but

I am sorry but I do not know anyone in Nashville. The only suggestion I can give you is to locate an oral pathologist.These  doctors can be located at teaching hospitals or dental schools. Good luck!
