numbness and burnig tongue and cheeck

Is it possible to have an infection without a fever?  For about a month I have had a numbness and or tingeling in my left cheeck and side of tongue.  Usually I also have a burning on my tongue and or a metalic taste in my mouth.  I first thought it was a sinus infection but I now have no other sinus symtoms.  Now I am having a some uncomforatability above my left uper back teeth.  Is it possible to have these symtoms before the tooth ach?  I also have TMG with clicking that can be heard by others while I eat.

i too have the clicking in my jaw,, i thought i had t.m.j.  so went to a doctor,, he said i have to have all my teeth pulled out (25 of them),, i have a rare disease in my jaw bone,, but not t.m.j.  my teeth went from being straight and white to crooked, sraced and ugly in 6 month;s.. could this be due to eagles? my neuro thinks i might have it.. any info would be most helpful,,    how did she fix it.. surgery?

For years I had a clicking sound in my jaw and went to a Nuero Muscular therapist for something else, but she caught this right away.  She fixed what ever it was and now I have no more clicking in my jaw after 13 years of it doing that. I could not believe it.
