once a week bones are poping through my gums!!!!

i had my wisdome teath removed 10 years ago. 3 weeks ago i had a peice of something, bone, comeing out of my bottom right inside gum, where a wisdom tooth once was. I went to the dentist they insisted that i come in the next day, have it pulled, and that an oral surgen was not necessary.

A few days later, i felt anoter piece of bone in the same place, i went back and had it pulled out. This was exactly 1 week later.

Yesterday i went back again i felt another piece, it felt bigger, pointie, and i felt a smaller peice under the gum. they removed another small piece and said the bone was protruding a little so he filed it down with a bone file.

I asked why they couldnt just see everything on my xray and remove it all the first time they said it was to small to see on an xray, they showed me the xray it was the size of my thumb (cant you somehow make it bigger?) and the xray was really of the outside the bone was more on the inside close to my toung.

I dont feel right about what happned to me at all
I dont know whats going to happen next, and neither does my dentist!!

I never had my wisdom teeth pulled but I did have the same thing happen to me. I just pulled out the pieces with my tongue. It hurt somewhat but pain was gone the second it came out.

Have you had a panoramic x-ray done (its shows your entire mouth and is taken from the outside)?   Were your wisdom teeth pulled out by an oral surgeon in a hospital, in an office?  Did they take ex-rays after they were pulled out?

You have every right to be asking questions.
