I had two fillings . had to go back because they were way too high. Thought We'd got it right, but now there is quite bad pain every time I open my mouth wide, right in the hinge of my jaw on the same side as the fillings were done. It doesn't hurt at rest.
Could this be related to the fillings?
this is EXACTLY my problem...what was your outcome? Mines been ongoing and unchanged since the filling was done. I'm afraid that the dentist did nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity damage. She ended up giving me 4-5 shots of novacane (sp?) and 1 through the palat because I could feel her drilling. She eventually had to drill anyway through the pain because she didn't want to give me any more. I'm scared that I may not be able to open my mouth wide ever again.
