Two teeth to be extracted, bone grafts, mouth guard - "flipper"

I will be having two teeth (#'s 11 and 12) extracted, and bone grafting done this coming Monday the 23 of February.  My general dentist will be pulling them.  Tooth #11 has a crack in it and they both have an infection of which I am taking antibiotics presently.  I have never had two permanent teeth extracted before and bone grafts.  Also, tomorrow, I will be having my three month cleaning and getting impressions taking for the flipper like device which I can either wear or not wear while I am eating.  Is there anything that I should be aware of after they are extracted and my bone grafts are done?  Also, I will be getting implants put into place - where the teeth will be extracted in two months.

How did your procedure turn out?  What type of bone was used for your graft?

Just to let you know that I will be wearing a jack plate in my mouth while I am eating.

Extraction of teeth and bone graft  are simple procedure . There is no need to worry. It appears that you are going to have immediate denture after tooth extraction. Immediate generally requires soft liner, and may need periodic reling , depending on the material . I personally would place implant 3-6 months after bone graft, depending on the healing process. If you have question, you should discuss with your dentist thoroughly.
