No treatment necessary. Quite common. If you needed dentures one day they may need to shave down the tori, but other than that the only time you would have discomfort is during xrays. Not sure what causes tori, just that it is quite common. Some people get tori on the roof of their mouth and sometimes on other surfaces in the mouth (above/below gumline on outside)
Etiology of tori is unknown, may be regarded as variation of normal anatomy.
