should impacted teeth be removed?

I just had my two lower wisdom teeth removed. I did so because one had partially erupted and the other was very close to the surface. I opted not to have the upper two taken because they are far below the surface (it looks like a ¼ inch at least on the xray) and the surgeon said it could cause a “communication” with my sinuses. It sounded like a lot of risk to take for teeth that don’t appear to be moving. I’m 30 and they’ve never given me any trouble. But I’m doing some reading now and I’m worrying that I should have them removed. Any advice?

why fix something that isnt broken??...... if they are not bothering you then leave them alone.....no need to take them out of they are not causing any problem

Hi Mammo, I will. I just asked spur of the moment as I was thinking about it and because I have seen dentists on here before.
