I have been to 4 dentists and so far this is what happened i went to 1 because i had chipped my tooth on a bone he put a cap on it and said i'd be fine i was in pain and afterwords was still in pain it feels like this sharp shooting daggers through my jaw bone and throbbing and kinda like labor pains only in my jaw contractions i guess after the crown the pain is still there and i went back he sent me to sombody else who said oh well its wisdom teeth and so i had those pulled The pain is still there i keep going back now they think i want pain medication until i said if it was pain pills i could get them off the street for a lot less than i pay out at every single dentist visit not to mention its all cash i have no insurance!  they send me for a root canal which then landed me immediatly in surgery because it swelled and went down into my neck they said i would not live long if i didnt have the surgery and pull the tooth because of the infection {more money}  I have the surgery and now after all that the tooth is gone AND THE SAME PAIN IS STILL THERE!!!!!!   What is it!     And why can't a dentist who went to school for teeth tell me WHAT is wrong with my teeth

hmmmm better keep a journal of your happenings.

I found out my ear problem had to do with a crown being to high in my mouth.  It was causing noises and my ear hurt.  As soon as a dentist (speicalist) adjusted my crown, it started healing.   Still have some of the noise but the soreness in the ear is starting to go away.

Please keep in mind that not all tooth aches are dental origin. based on your descriptions , clinical differential diagnosis includes, but not limited to, atypical odontalgia, neurovascular orofacial pain, pretrigeminal or trigeminal neuralgia, sinus tooth ache, as well as muscular tooth ache.Seeing an orofacial pain specialist is advised.

Gravity boots or yoga are better than a chiropracter for putting your spine back inline if thats the problem.  An aspirin sized amount of calcium powder rubbed on the gums will provide very rapid pain control.  Too much at one time will give you headache.  Rinse mouth with warm water with salt in it or clean seawater if you can get it.  Oregano tea either cold or hot can take of infection.  Oregano oil is also available.  Chose this before taking antibiotics.  Place a teaspoon of virgin coconut oil in mouth and swish it around as long as possible also good for dental problems, called oil pulling
