unsure if infected ...

last summer my dentist told me to get my wisdom teeth removed because of decay.. i went away to school and have yet to do so. Now i'm noticing two small bumps on my gums.. could this be an infection from not getting them removed right away?

I think I have the same kind of bump as yours due to my molar (with root canal) decaying.  It's been infected and has affected my health.  I got rather sick and went to a dentist for some antibiotics.  I'm feeling a little bit better after starting on the medication.   I got to have mine extracted too.  I wish I had decided on extraction and not root canal earlier on.  Hope you're able to take care of your gum infection and extraction too (I know it's hard).

yes, it could be.
are the bumps red, or swollen and have white tip?
is there any pain?
normaly when a tooth gets infected there is pain, or pressure from the infection trying to get out, thats why there is a bump that comes up sometimes, its the infection trying to make a whole to get out, and sometimes if you do nothing, if will get so bad that the infection is leaking out the whole.

so if you are concerned you can go to the dentist, or if there is pain you can go ahead and get a prescription of antibodics
