White lesion is generally referred to leukoplakia, which is a non-speific entity. There is a long list of differential diagnosis underneath leukoplakia, whick can vary from innocuous lesion, for example, frictional hyperkeratosis, to malignant lesion. Generally, a malignant lesion tends to present non-healing ulcerated surface, ill-defined border, indurated consistency, increase in size quickly. Seeing an oral pathologist or oral surgeon is advised.
