Protracted Withdrawal From Paxil

I have been withdrawing from Paxil for 1 year already, stopped cold turkey
I was not informed otherwise, had severe symptoms 9 months, somewhat better
now but not well. Will this go away?

Welcome to the club.  I tapered off over six weeks, and still ended up with my life destroyed -- been three and a half years now.  My psychiatrist also never informed me of withdrawal possibility or that I was in it.  Google protracted withdrawal syndrome; there's a site on there that purports to be able to handle this, but I don't know how reliable it is.  But you'll at least see you're not alone.

I wish I had an answer for you...by all accounts you should have been over this a long time ago...but at least it is getting better, and since there is nothing to do other than try a new antidepressant, I am afraid you are going to have to wait and manage the symptoms by taking good care of yourself and your nutrition.
