Afternoon crying

I've had severe depression all my life. I had a schizoid episode when I was a teenager. Mental illness runs in my family. I take pristiq, lamactil, adderall, and clonazepam for panic attacks. I'm usually pretty stable on my meds. But I still don't understand why the hours of 1-5 p.m. are the worst for me I'm great in the morning and evening and night, but mid afternoon I go down hill and very depressed or sad. Also the weekend is very hard for me. It's the weekend that I usually will cry and week day afternoons that I'm depressed. So I cry when sad and feel kinda dead or no energy and can't think when depressed. Sounds funny, but except for these times I'm quite stable. I'm just don't know why this happens.

I felt the same way about 6-8 hours after taking Prisriq (50 mg). I began taking it around 3-4pm and the problem was solved because I would be asleep when I would normally hit that wall. To make sure I slept soundly and not wake frequently, I took 1/2 Klonopin, 100 mg magnesium citrate (helps with sleep and constipation side effects AND MOOD STABILIZATION!) and drink a calming tea.

When a person cries endorphins are released. That's why it makes you feel better.
