Can overdosing cause damage to any internal organs?

When I was a teenager I tried overdosing a few times of course none of them were successful I just got really sick for days. Now I'm 24 and Ive heard that overdosing on certain prescriptions can cause liver damage. Everytime I consume alcohol I get really sick and I'm not talking about a hangover because I could just have like 3 or 4 drinks and I feel like I've consumed a whole case of beer and I cannot even function the next day or two. Could my previous overdosing have damaged something inside me??

Yes, overdosing can damage your organs. Tylenol is known to severely damage the liver and kidneys. I would see a doctor to have it checked.

yes, i agree with annieinside.
or sometimes as your body changes you become sensitive to certain things. my friend drank every weekend and now all of sudden she also gets the same way when she has just a little bit of alcohol. she hasnt found a cause but she believe its her new birth control.. so maybe and new meds?

Thanks it was Tylenol that I overdosed with. I was only 16 and I didn't know the effects of taking too much Tylenol I was just so unhappy with myself. I was taken to ER but all they said was that I had the flu and I was so out of it I couldn't tell them what I had done. I hope I didn't cause too much damage because I did try it a couple times. I will surely see a Dr asap.

A year ago I did start taking the depo shot and have been on it ever since but this problem started before so I quit drinking then started drinking again and I was fine for a while but it's started again.
