Stopping my medicines, though not sure.

I take Klonopin, Wellbutrin and lithium for depression and anxiety.  I feel some better but not much.  Now I'm wondering if I would ask my doctor to wean me off the drugs, and if I had problems, would she take me back as a patient.  I know she will talk me out of doing this but I want to know anyhow if she'd take me back as a patient.  Has anyone tried that and did your doctor accept you as a patient again?  Advice whether or not I should do this?

Why do you think your doctor wouldn't take you back?  If she prescribed these medications then she has some responsibility in helping you to get off of them.  But be careful because the meds may be doing more good than you think and you may still need them.  The only way to know if you don't need them is to have your doctor start you on a weaning off schedule, and go from there.  Always work closely with your doctor when on medication and you feel it's not helping much, sometimes we have to try different medications before we find the right one for us.  YOU call the shots when it comes to taking medication, your doctor can suggest you do one thing or another but the decision is ultimately yours.  You can always find another doctor to help you with this but your doctor has to be prescribing these for you so I see no reason why she wouldn't see you.  I hope this helps and good luck.
