Hi
Thanks for the comment.
Can you pl tell me how to find the right doctor.
Problem is I dont have enough time in hands to
undergo rigorous treatment.
I am really desperate to get normal as soon as I can.
I know it sounds rash but being an alien with little time
left in the host country, I really dont know what else to say.
Are there safe and common anti depressants/medication
that will help me atleast temporarily. Eventually I will definitely
go for a permanent cure. But right now, I need something to calm
me down relatively quickly.
Pls do not take this otherwise.
Thanks
Everyone is different in the medications that work for them. I would be a fool to say which ones could work for you but undoubtably there is one that could help. I hate to say this because you may not be receptive to it.....
Treatment is very important. I don't know what you have going on and I am sure you are very busy. If you can't get into treatment right now please don't let that make you think that there are not things you can be doing in what spare time you have. If you have a paper due or if you have leisure time to kill, however small, use that time to learn from information like the information you can get from here. Use it to battle the deppression as if it were your worst enemy. Here is an excersise I like to use:
I state my thinking right now such as: I wish I could draw something.
I make a reachable goal like: Draw an inspirational picture.
I then list steps that I can take to reach the goal:
1. If drawing with a pencil doesn't help use a marker.
2. Start by drawing something funny and irregular.
3. Draw happy things like kids walking on rainbows or a stickman eating a book titled love.
The list can go on and on and I try to write more funny things as I go through it because laughter, if you didn't know, happens to be the best medicine. Anyway, there are many things you can do to try to fight the deppresion but the only thing you can do wrong is feed the deppression by thinking negative thoughts.....I like to walk up and hug people that I know don't like to show emotions. IT may make them uncomfortable but it is a productive way for me to take their negativity and feed my happiness.....Good Luck.
Thanks Bubulous.. Sorry for the late reply..
Don't apologize. It is unnecessary. I spend most of my time on here and look forward to hearing from you no matter how long it takes. Although I have been crying for days waiting for you to reply.....lol : )
I hope you get the help you need. I had to give up on life before I was receptive to treatment but it has benefited me greatly.
