Has anyone tried emsam patch

I have just about exhausted psych med options.  Has anyone tried the emsam patch?  I did the oral MAOI years ago with symptom success, physically, I felt horrible.

My wife has been on the patch for over a year.  It has helped quite a bit, but she still needs other medications.

Without getting too confidential could you tell me more?  Mine is an agitated depression.  Has she needed to add other psych meds?  Thanks for your reply.

i took emsam 6mg for 2-3 months. the insomnia is really bad and i cudn't sleep for over a month. made be physcially sick and physcosis came back while one patch.but at first it was helping me and my mood was up.try it with a open mind.

The emsam patch did a lot of good for my wife, and is still doing good.  It didn't completely help her, as she is also on zyprexa and a bit of lithium.  She is on emsam 9 and really has no side effects from it.  

I think if you take the emsam 12 patch you have to be careful as to what you eat.
