You may make an appointment to see a psychiatrist, who can diagnose you with the type of depression you have and treat you as such. He/She will make recommendations for treatment which may be medication and/or talk therapy.

Please do not wait any longer or else depression can significantly increase causing even more issues. Take control from now and it is good that you have identified that you have a problem and is willing to seek help. Help is available, take it.

Please take care and keep us updated!

Then you definitely need to seek help.  You may not need to go to the hospital, as long as you're not a threat to yourself or others, but it's definitely time to reach out to a professional.  Make an appt with your doc and tell him/her you want a referral to a psychiatrist.

That is not a question we can really answer for you.  ONLY YOU know how you feel.  One thing I'll say, obviously, if you EVER feel like you could harm yourself or others, then it's time.

If you feel you NEED to go to the hospital, then just go.  It never hurts to just get checked out, and to err on the side of caution.  Are you seeing a psychiatrist and/or a therapist? If so, be sure to let them know how you're feeling.

Hang in there!
