I am a teen with depression and need a way out

how can i convince my parents that I really do want to get help by way of boarding school for troubled teens? i really am tired of hurting my family and want to get help away from home so they can find peace to. They dont seem to understand but i need to do this.

i have the same problem and i WAS hospitalized but hun it wont work you have to be the one to stop it and you can......if you need a friend im here

Are you acting out or is it just difficult for your family to deal with your depression, because going to a boarding school for troubled teens would probably be a really bad idea. If you want to get help away from home, you should try a partial hospitalization program instead, although it would be hard to do if you're not out of high school yet (if you are, take a semester off and try that).
