If you have paranoia and are successfully treated

by JD623, Sep 07, 2009 10:50PM
My wife has had paranoia for many years. It led to her depression recently and she has been on medication for two months now. If you have heard  any successful story on treatment of paranoia, pls share with me. Thanks.

It depends where the paranoia is coming from. That's not generally a part of depression but it can be from depression with psychotic features or other related conditions but only a psychiatrist would understand the specifics of it but ask them where the paranoia comes from. Recovery rates from antipsychotics vary but they will improve as new treatments become FDA approved (you can read through my posts for more information) so don't give up hope. But do discuss the whole issue with her psychiatrist.
