Thank you for your kind responses.
Get TSH , T4, Free T3 and thryoid antibody screen--give blood samples.
If TSH is normal, that is good, but there still may be some variations to check out. TSH is the thryoid stimulating hormone. When it is down, your thyroid levels are up so it is not needed to stimulate the thyroid.
When TSH is up, you are not producing enough hormone and the (I think pituitary gland) is trying to get your thyroid to produce more hormones.
Antibodies--you can have a normal test because your body will fluctuate to normal, up, and down--which causes all the different moods--may seem like bipolar.
Get antibodies checked even though you have a normal TSH to see if you are having those types of reactions.
Thanks chigirl, as usual you are a wealth of imformation!
Do you happen to know which tests (TSH, T4, T3, free T4 by dialysis, etc)? I had TSH which was normal.
Thankyou for sharing this chigirl!
