wellbutrin/lamictal question

hi.i've been taking these 2 drugs together now for a year. 150mg Wellbutrin/150mg Lamictal daily. I was hoping the Wellbutrin would help me with my concentration, but it hasnt. my bipolar/depression symptoms are gone mostly. could i take Ritalin (along with these 2 drugs) or a natural drug to help with my concentration? Thanks

If you are bipolar then you want to stay away from stimulants as they may trigger a manic episode. Discuss the concentration problems with your doctor as they may be a residual symptom of depression. And if you do look into natural remedies make sure you discuss these with your doctor as well. For example, I cannot take any health supplements for weight loss as they trigger manic episodes. Always run stuff past your doctor, just part of dealing with the bipolar. Hope this helps.

I don't know much about medications, but looking at how it works, it is not adviced to combine Ritalin with Wellbutrin. You should discuss this with the physician who prescribed you the Wellbutrin + Lamictal.

Knowing a little bit is always helpful when talking with your physician.
