Lexapro

I have depression and generalized anxiety disorder.  What are thoughts on Lexapro?  I've only taken Zoloft and have been on it for 7 years.  Recently diagnosised with thyroid problems and Zoloft plays havoc with those levels.  So now I need to switch.  Just wanted some opinions?  Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I took lexapro in the past but unfortunately I had horrible stomach cramps
and headaches and my blood pressure when through the roof!  This is the only
ad I have reacted negatively to so at least there is hope.  Everyone is
different so it may be the perfect med for you.

Best wishes,

I think it's a good idea to be informed about the drugs you want to take. Ask your doctor about these drugs. It's also good to get a second opinion.

Also, you can try searching online on websites like www.adverse-drug-reaction.net to see what people have reported as adverse reactions to these drugs.

Hope this helps =)

Thanks for the input.  I'm really scared to try it.  I think its the anxiety that causes the fear.
