i've found that it depersonalises you. you don't feel like you can communicate properly or have your personality and be yourself because there's like a tension in your head all the time. it is as if your brain is mucky all the time so you can't focus on conversations or tasks no matter how much you want to. it is like theres no point if you can't do this. i can't really explain it well but i hope that helps. xxx
Lack of thyroid hormones affect the seritonin adn dopamine centers as weel as every other cell in your body. thyroid disease can also mimic the symptoms of bi polar. when I was in hypohell the only thing that kept me going was my celexa cause I was already taking that (I am bi polar)
I had thyroid cancer last year so you have to go hypo to take the Treatment and it was pure hell. the treatment wasnt bad but preparing for it was tough. I hope this helps some. also bi polars are at a higher risk for thryoid trouble. especially if you took lithium.( I did)
Love Venora
I think mostly its the low energy and maybe the cloudy thinking too. If you feel physically miserable all the time, and have a lack of energy, that would be a lot like depression that many people experience.
