The cipralex was good, but I didnt really have much of an appetite on it and always felt very dull on it (sort of like I was dumb to things people said or did), I was on it about 3-4years and it worked well, but then I think it stopped working.
The citalopram did nothing for me though.
Well i really hope this mirtazapine works well, as I feel like im going through hell for it.

Hi again Christina,
For me it was the right medication, but it took time before I knew it for sure. I tried Cipralex too but knew immediately that it was not going to help me at all. The prescription was half a tablet for a week, then increase. I never made it for more than 4 days on it because my reactions were worse than the benefit would ever be.
The first two weeks might be all you need, but if it doesn't work, you might need to ask for something else. Maybe the cipralex works for you still?

hey thanks for replying
I only started taking them thursday night, but god they make me feel rough, my eyes feel crossed and everything.
I've always had slight insomnia so im sure they'll help me with that :)
The doctor has given me two weeks off work, so maybe by the time the 2weeks is over i'll feel ok.
Do you find this medication good?

Hi,
When I started on mirtazapine I was told to start with 15mg. It gave me a pretty rough hang-over for two weeks. I stepped up to 30mg and it took a week more, basically before I started feeling like they helped at all. At least I slept better, and that was needed! How long have you taken this medication?
