this is Not a Question....I Am Weening off Effexor....Thank Goodness!

Today after much looking over all the side effects and withdrawl symptoms of Effexor I called my doctors office and told him I decided I would like to ween off of this medicine. I told him what I have planned to do and he said that was fine.....here how I plan to do this......I have strong faith and this is where my strong Will WILL come in handy....I have been taking 225mg of Effexor for years...last night i took only 150mg and have felt drained all day and it has been rough but thats about it, I will take 150mg for the next 2wks then I wl go down to 75mg for 2wks and then to 37.5 for 2wks and finally will be off as of December 1st! Im looking so forward to being Effexor FREE and will no longer ever let something this horrible control my life, I told the doctors office if I had ever been told of these side effects and or the withdrawl symptoms I wou never of subjected myself to this especially because they have also been prescribing me Anxiety meds as well as High Blood Pressure meds and it was a response of well it must have been needed at the time and I simply said yes but there are alot of things out there and why this one and why wasnt I told of all the horrible things that could happen to me.....                                                                                                                                                                                   Anyways please wish me luck in the days to come and I will continue to keep you posted as my journey to being Effexor FREE continues!
