Symptoms of depression or something else???

I gave been recovering since April from a serious suicide attempt. Then about two and a half weeks ago I was diagnosed with an extremly high level of ammonia in my blood which the drs think was from my depakote. Since my medical discharge been going thru alot of physical and mental changes. My judgement has changed (making poor decisions that I know are wrong but almost can't control myself from doing so) easily agitated having feelings of withdrawal almost from the four meds they took me off of (feeling of bugs crawling on me--scratching so much I bleed) nausea headaches physical pain and chills and hot flashes. I am not sure if this is due to my mental status decreasing again or if this is still from elevated ammonia in my blood. Was still elevated when I left the hospital. Scared because I have worked so hard from April to get better don't want to go back! Don't want that fear of harming myself any more! But now I'm even withdrawing from family and friends!! Pls help!! So scared right now!! :(

You need to let your doctor know what's going on, asap.  Sounds like something isn't right...either from the d/c of the meds, the ammonia, or something else.

Please call youir doctor.

Hi there!

I am really sorry for what you have gone through, and im glad that you are still here today, because nothing is worth taking your life over!!
Okay, the symptoms you have described here definitely dont sound like depression symptoms. It sounds like whatever is wrong with you can be serious! You are depressed too it seems, because you have mentioned pulling away from friends and family, which is a sign of depression.  But, depression as well as other mental health problems  can also be a result of many physical underlying illnesses.  I know you mentioned not wanting to go back to doctors, but its the best thing for you to do.
Dont be afraid! I know it can sometimes be scary when something is wrong with your body, and you fear the diagnoses, but i think a visit to the doctors would be a good thing to do right now. You need to, so they can do further testing to figure out whats wrong! Im sorry your scared about this!!! I wish you the best of luck!!!!!
