Was it a lethal dose? Please help.

I have a very simple question: I took 4200 mg of aspirin and 1000 ibuprofen... is it harmful enough to kill me?

Well if your posting this then I suppose not!  However, you could have caused yourself an ulcer or liver or kidney failure.  Please try to keep in mind there are worse things than death.  If your feeling this bad, please call a friend or your parents if that's possible and tell them you need to see a therapist right away, okay hun?  

If you just now took all this, go get your stomach pumped.  I bet your feeling nauseous at the very least.

Definitely nauseous, and incredibly shakey (shaky), although that's probably because I'm terrified. I literally just took all those pills 45 minutes ago or so.

Thank you. I've had to drink activated charcoal before, would they perhaps do that instead of pumping my stomach? Or does that vary depending upon how much you took?

and, why on earth would you do that?   dont answer this til you get back from the hospital or off the phone with poison control.

Thank you all... I'm feeling much better now after a LONG, sleepless night at the hospital. Lotsa charcoal, lotsa pin-pricks... but I'm alive.

Okay honey so what are you going to do now about your depression.  Can you talk to your parents about this?  Why are you feeling bad enough to kill yourself?  I am a lot older than you, but I tried this exact way to end it when I was 12yrs old.  Let me just encourage you that life will get better as you get older.  Your dealing with hormones,maybe your a senior in highschool or just a young one like I was and graduated in June and now your facing life.....I don't know, but whatever it is please find a counselor to talk to because suicide is never the answer.  If you did that, it would just kill your family and friends.  Try very hard to remember that hun.

if you love your family then dont be selfish and kill yourself....the pieces arent easy to pick up afterwards.   get help!!!!!!!!!!!!   my wifes dad committed suicide sept 12 2000 and it still kills her and affects her life big time... dont be stupid

hii erm i don't know what to write but i took an overdose 2 days ago i took prozac (i stole of my cousin) asprin paracetomol ibeprofen and two other drugs that i found. i know thats sounds stupid but is that going to damage me because i've changed my mind but i don't want to tell aanyone especially my parents
