you really have'nt given it a chance. it could take a couple of weeks for you to start to feel better and for the side effects to go away. can i ask why you want to quit taking it? Remar

I went thru the "merry-go-round" with several anti-depressants 10 or so years ago. It was a horror getting off them, Doctor felt now Lexapro might be a good match for me considering my low-grade anxiety, panic attacks (more fear of having one) and mild depression. In a high stress job but can't really be impaired which side effects & withdrawal can do. Right off the bat I got frequent urination, trouble sleeping and neausia(sp), so I'm thinking "oh, no, not this again" and figured maybe I better stop before I'd taken enough to get withdrawal symptoms too. Short version!

2 1/2 days and no withdrawal symptons, so I guess I'm home free. May try 5-HTP.
