Zoloft and weight loss first and then weight gain?

Zoloft and weight loss first and then weight gain?

I started taking zoloft for depression and anxiety 7 months ago.  I had no appetite for the longest time and lost well needed 25 lbs. that I gain from Effexor. A couple of weeks ago, I started noticing that my appetite is back tremendously. I already gained 4 lbs because I am so hungry that I have a hard time to keep my Weight Watchers desirable "points". I am also on Lamictal 200 mgs not for bi-polar but to bust up the zoloft since it wasn't working by itself. I don't think lamictal has any effect on weight. I am of 100 mgs of zoloft. Of course my Psychiatrist doesn't believe that is med related. I gained 40 lbs a while ago on Paxil and he didn't believe me until all the research came out!
Anybody experienced that with zoloft? Should I get off it slowly?
