brainwave entrainment

Has anyone used brainwave entrainment or binaural beat therapy for treating depression? I am about to begin this because I am getting no relief from traditional drug therapy and wonder if anyone has ANY experience with this?

Please keep me posted on your treatment! My depression has been resistant to med's for about 5 years and it's been a real son of a gun... I did Cognitive Behavioral Therapy years ago and those tools have not been effective for me the worse I've gotten.
I also had EMDR treatment for my ptsd/depression/anxiety/flashbacks ~ and that was very effective for me. I now have "normal reactions" in areas where they used to be extreme. I SO Hope your treatment goes well!! I'll look forward to hearing from you no matter what you decide! Peace ~ Wosh.

I'm starting tomorrow but I'm really afraid that I have too high of expectations starting at day one. So I must be patient. But I will give a daily update on my page so feel free to read! Oh and by the way... all prayers welcome!

I started using brainwave entrainment 5 years ago to assist in meditation practice. I also have had major depressive episodes since I was a youngster. I no longer suffer from depression !! It took about a year before I noticed things were changing, so be patient and know in your heart that this is going to help. Good luck to you!
