can you have a skin rash associated with Effexor or Prozac withdrawal?

by Sherene57, Apr 07, 2008 02:51PM
I was on Prozac for 6 years and my gyno put me on Effexor for menopausal symptoms. She said to just stop the Flouoxetine and start effexor. The effexor was horrible. Only on it for a month and somewhat weined myself off. Can there be a rash with stopping either of these meds?

I am absolutely not sure of this, but I have not yet heard of rashes when eliminating medications except antihistamines. Have you noticed anything else than a rash? Do you have any allergies?

I hope you get an answer to this by someone who knows the medications better than me.
