celexa and abnormal dreams

I was in a drug study that involved Celexa and a blind drug. I was off the blind drug in December and still am on Celexa. During the study I complained constantly of "abnormal dreams" to the extent I would wake up trying to catch a basketball, smoke a cigar (which I do not do) or other such "playing out" of my dreams. More concerning is the fact during the study I started talking in my sleep, something I never did.  Now, virtually every night, I find myself talking outloud, sometimes for a few seconds and othertime a complete conversation. I am in a sleep that is deep enough for me to fall right back into a deep sleep but 'awake' enough to hear myself talking. The school that conducted the study says it is "impossible" it was the blind drug because I was off of it since December. I stopped taking the Celexa for almost a month and still had the symptoms, plus there is not history of Celexa causing this. Is it not even remotely possible that a drug can affect the brain in such a way that it has short term, or long term, effect on dreaming and how one reacts to those dreams -- acting them out and talking? Is it worth me asking to unblind the drug or am I overreacting? It makes having a relationship difficult when I am talking in my sleep and jumping up in my bed every night.

I suggest you go see psychiatrist not related to the study you were in.
A good physical and psychological exam should prove beneficial to you.
Your symptoms could be due to many things.
