lol, please dont beat him or you'll just double your problems I guarantee. He must have dismissed your symptoms as part of a panic attack. You really have to push your doctors sometimes to get to the bottom of it. Make sure you keep a "journal" of your symptoms and how often they occur, how bad they bother you, if you take any pain relievers or other meds, and any changes you may experience. My post was really long but I put everything in there that has happened to me that may or may not be a factor simply because I'm not a doctor and I need help putting the pieces together. Tell your doctor you're not against taking the celexa but AFTER he figures out if you have a sinus or ear infection and what not. do you have insurance? figure out what tests you can have done or request that he perform the neccessary tests, cat scans, whatever needs to be done to check for polyps or cysts or w/e maybe in there. Do you have poor teeth and gums? you may need a dentist to check for abcess in the gums around the teeth.. this is my problem as far as getting help, not really knowing where to start but I hope to see an ent in the next week or so. Hope you get better, keep me posted...

yea its horrible. i wish i never took the celexa. it made me worse. it was a physical problem now it has become mental. im going to an ent again monday and he better have answers. because if he just tries to send me out with nasal sprays he is asking for it. but i hope when we find out its something simple that we can take care of the sake of both of us.

Hi Frank. Sorry to hear about what you are going through. I know what Celexa is but why did your doctor prescribe it?  the ringing in your ears could be many things from Tinnitus, Menieres Disease, Ear infection of the middle ear, Aspirin, benign tumors in the ear, etc... do you have any other symptoms besides the ringing in the ears?  The neurologist in the hospital had me on celexa for anxiety but I did not fill my prescription once I left because I couldn't go anywhere without being nervous and I know thats what it was. You commented on my post and I wanted to say that someone in the family suggested to me it could be nasal polyps or a deviated septum in my case. I hope to find out soon before I get any worse as it really is hard to function with these horrible symptoms....
