Hey, Sweetie, I am a mother of a 14 year old who has issues with depression and cutting. At first, I didn't understand why she was so unhappy and was cutting. I wanted her to snap out of it and chalked it up to just being a teen. Your parents may not understand how badly you still feel
She now is taking anti-depressents and has therapy, and I have learned that she doesn't need a reason to be depressed, she just is....and when she cuts , she can not help it. She now has up days and down, but is doing much better..she did try to over dose once in the beginning, so you can see, she was really hurting. I do know that you alone can call 911 and let them know how bad you feel and you are suicidal, if you need to.I would tell your parents first. Some times you need to be hospitalized for a few days to get your meds straight. There are so many treatment options for you, if one doesn't work, another will. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. There are so many girls like you, it is so hard being a young girl, hormones can really make you feel depressed also. I hope I helped you some, and I will pray for you!
Dear Zahraa: I would like to help you; I need to know how old are you. Also I would like to know if you take any medication for depression or for anxiety, and if you have been feeling dizzy or with imbalance any time and if cutting yourself relieves you.
Best regards
