elavil for for detoxing/withdrawal

theres so many posts on here about depression and not sleeping because of there w/d i just wanted to say my doctor prescribed me elavil last time i ran out of percs, and it didnt take all the bad feeling away but it helps with my mood and depression and insomnia so i just wanted to put this out there for people who may not know about this med, its not addictive, it works, and its not expensive
