I'm really depressed sometimes, and my anger gets the best of me, I don't know what to do anymore. I hurt those around me and my self, I thought I got better on my own but it turned out I really didn't get any better. It just I don't know where to go since I have no medical care and very little money since I have no job at this point. What should I do?

Irrational and uncontrolable anger? In highschool especially, meds helped me eventually, but before that the way I kept it back was the minute I got crazy pissed off for no reason was to literally take myself out of the situation. One of those count to ten moments, take a breath. Start up some kind of work out maybe? Get the mad out through exercise

any help you give is great, it's hard in my house hold to tell others how I feel a) my brother is a five year old with autism, my mother is also having rage problems thought she won't admit it and my dad is just too overwealmed by all his problems plus ours... I know that he will listen and I do talk to him, but some times he just can't deal with my problems and his at the same time. My friends...It's too easy for them to think I am fine and that I have no problems, I show them my happy face after all and well I only have two close friends and one is in a different state at this time sigh. I have a few things that keep the wish for pain away, I write and have been published twice for the poems I wrote funny how pain and suffering in silence can be translated into something so creative. yesterday was just one of my bad days, I think today will be different after all it's sunday!

Hey, I wish I could be of more help, but all I can say is that you need to talk to someone fast. I've been in your shoes, honestly.

I spent years pulling myself out of a ditch that I never saw getting bigger until it was too late. I fell back into it a couple months ago and the consequences for such negligence thankfully didn't end up with me in the morgue.

But the only good thing about what happened, was that everything got out in the open. At first, its very uncomfortable and it may seem like you've got no privacy and you've got nothing to hold onto, but in due time, you'll see that you don't have to do it alone.

What I was talking about, by the way, was that I let my anger steer me to suicide. Funny thing is, I was never suicidal until that one time, and that is all it takes - just that one time.

Can you talk to your parents, a sibling, another close relative, or possibly a really good friend? You might feel like you are pushing them away, but always remember that there is always a thread keeping ties between everyone around you and as long as you keep some type of communication open, it won't be severed.

If you explain to the people around you that love you most about how you truly feel and how you need help, give them a chance to extend a rope out to you so you don't have to pull yourself out of that ditch you're in.

As for the anger, after you talk to those around you about how you feel, tell them that when you get overwhelmed, too stressed and / or really angry, you need to take some air to calm down and think. Once you talk to them, they will understand and you'd be surprised. =)

What you need most is a support group, and there is no one better than family and close friends. Just talk to them, explain to them about the hurt and loneliness that encompasses you and tell them you have anger issues. They'll understand.

Hope you take care. And I'm sorry I don't have much else to offer. If you have anymore questions, I'll be more than happy to try and help.
