Lexapro withdrawal
I have been on Lexapro for at least 7 years. 10mg daily. I'm now trying to wean myself off...have taken 5mg the last 3 days and am feeling really unfocused.
Is this the safe way to taper off?

I was on 30mg lexapro from 2007 to 2010. I statred to wean my self off in oct 2010 but cutting doses in half

I am not giving advice, but take it slow, try staying at that for a while, take your time, easy does it. I would have gone to 5 for one day out of 10, then for two days out of 10. You get the idea. Or then go every second day.
I am just telling you what worked for me.I hope that your Doc is giving you advice on this, but they don't always go slow enough.
You just halved it over night, that is fast.
