Congrats on your pregnancy but I am so sorry to hear about your depression. Were you depressed before the pregnancy? Sometimes being pregnant makes us extremely hormonal and sad, if you were depressed before, then the pregnancy hormones may have made it worse.

There are always other methods to try in lieu of medication. There is talk therapy, meditation and relaxation techniques (nature walks, yoga etc). However it is best to talk to your doctor. He/she can give you advice on how to even monitor medication so that it does not affect your pregnancy.

I'm sorry you're going through this. Can you think of a reason you may be feeling depressed? It may be hormones. This can happen during pregnancy. You may want to talk to your Dr about how your feeling. I would also recommend counseling if that's possible.
