Well my best advice on the subject is this. As mammo said earlier, eating only gives you a few minutes of satisfaction, while the stress and worry afterwards is magnified significantly. I suggest replacing the habit with something you enjoy doing(whether it be art, music, reading ect.) and whenever you feel the urge to eat, do that instead. When you feel that urge, immediately distract yourself from it, it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. Soon enough those feelings will simply go away. And also, coping mechanisms such as eating are brought on by stress, try to address the stress in your life (such as getting pregnant) and remember to always think positively. Stress can have a huge effect on your hormones.

I've been thru this emotional eating. What you have to do is when you want to eat, stop and think "am I actaully hungry, or am I just wanting to eat?" Think of the few minutes of feeling good while eating, but how long that few minutes will impact your weight. You know the weight is not the few minutes of feeling good by eating. Find something to do during these times that doesn't involve eating.
