I tapered off of Paxil after taking the stuff for about 5 years. The last pill I took was about 5 weeks ago and I'm still suffering from nausea, sexual dysfunction (I'm 28, my girlfriend looks amazing - yet I have zero sex drive whatsoever!) and pounding headaches. The nausea and sexual dysfunction is daily. The headaches are frequent - maybe 3 or 4 times a week. And man are they severe! Is this normal? When does it end? I can deal with the nausea and the headaches but my girlfriend cannot deal with sex once or twice a week.
Try natural AMORYN it stopped my physcosis like paxil withdrawl in 4 days!
a cleanse is good to get it out of your system/tissues etc faster
are you tapering or doing it cold turkey? I suggest cold turkey since tapering can only prolong the withdrawel symptoms...
I went through celexa withdrawel then went on paxil to ease it so basically both.
What you need to do is be rational - remind yourself every day that what you are feeling is simply the pill and not you and that IT WILL END < it might take a month, or two but it will end. Take humour in it, be aware of your body and remind yourself of why you are going off it. It was the best decision of my life.
Paxil is hell and should be pulled of the market- the sickness, the psychological effects, and the long-term impact are brutal. Wish you luck - my best advice is to drink a lot of water to purge it out of your system, and eat a super balanced diet. There are also some good kidney/liver cleanses that are herbal which should help clear it out for you.
