Hi. I agree w Nurse Girl.
Also,do you know why you are feeling depressed?
Tell us. Write it down.
I was depressed in University too. Stress of
getting classes I needed, then all the homework.
We had a school Dr. With your student body
card,it was free. You've a great future.
Just take it easy. Go to the Emergency,
there is help. Please write back. Pamela
I'm glad to hear you're considering telling someone. You really need to sweetie. The longer you wait, you're putting off getting real help for you.
Are you close with either of your parents? Grandparents? Aunt/Uncle? It would be great if you could reach out to a close family member as they can facilitate getting you help a little more directly. If you're not comfortable with that, then the guidance counselor is fine.
Don't worry about what the counselor is going to say. Her job is to handle these kinds of things. She will likely discuss with you your options to get help, and will offer emotional support. Just be honest and tell her everything that's been going on, most importantly the suicidal thoughts. That's nothing to mess around with hon.
Please update us and let us know how it goes. Do it sooner rather than later. You've waited long enough. Time to get some help so you don't have to feel like this anymore.
Thinking of you.
