Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I too suffer from this fear sometimes. It has gotten better since I have been on meds and in therapy, but it still flares up sometimes. The others suggestions are good. Try starting out for small amounts of times. 5 minutes...then 10 minutes... use affirmations, tell yourself "I am okay, nothing is going to happen to me." Use deep breathing techniques, in for 7 counts out for 5. Ground yourself by tapping your feet or tapping your hands slowly on your knees. And most of all, distract yourself!
If you need to talk, I am here.
Maybe speak to a Dr to see if medication would help..or maybe a counselor to see why you may be feeling this way..Good Luck!!
hi it sounds like you may be experiencing separation anxiety. but I'm not a doctor. i would suggest seeing a therapist if possible because they will have some good ideas about dealing with i, and maybe get to the root of the problem of whats causing it. other suggests you could try on your own is, knowing that the fear/feeling of being alone will pass and although its a deep feeling, it is just that a feeling. also try distraction, and reward if you manage on your own for a period of time.
Just suggestions
hope that helps :)
