Confused and paranoid!! Could this be herpes??

Hi, I'm a 23 year old female who had sex with a 21 year old male. After a while, we stopped using condoms. We had anal, oral and vaginal sex about 5 to 8 times a night, 2 to 3 times a week, for about a month and a half. I usually shower afterward.In about 2 months,before I went over his house one day and I used hair remover which makes your skin very sensitive, soft and more prone to break. We had anal sex that night, it was dark and he accidentally jabbed the top of his penis in my buttocks on the same spot several times. After that, I was in alot of pain and I told him to stop. I didn't shower until the next day. About a day or 2 later, my buttocks area was a MESS, I had pain on my lower back,tears in my buttocks, (the same area where there was pain during sex) and red clear-pus-filled blisters. They were EXTREMELY PAINFUL when I touched them with a tissue, I was too afraid to use my hands. The blisters and tears also had a very strong bad fishy odor, my groin area and thighs were hurting, I was tired, and I had swollen lymph nodes near the groin area. I took left over antibiotics, doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 4 days. I know you are not supposed to do that but I was so scared. Even though the symptoms were still present, as soon as I saw improvement from doxycycline, I completely stopped taking the antibiotics. About a week later they completely went away. I haven't been sexually active up to this day. Exaclty 3 months later, the symptoms returned less severe, and my buttocks had clear-pus-filled rashes that were extremely itchy (sometimes a crawling sensation) and very foul smelling odor. They went away in about 4 weeks but left indented scars (they didn't crust or scab either). A week and a half later they were forming again. I went to my doctor and requested a blood test for HSV-1, HSV-II, etc. Still waiting for the results. My doctor just gave me ointment. PLEASE HELP, COULD THIS BE GENITAL HERPES?? ON MY BUTTOCKS??!! I will never have sex again!!!

Blisters can be a sign of herpes, but they can also be a sign of other things, such as bacterial infection.  Foul smelling odor is not a sign of herpes.  Also, herpes doesn't leave scars, if that's in fact what they are.  I'm afraid I can't make a diagnosis from a distance.  You will need to wait for the tests to come back, and leave the diagnosis to the doctor who saw and tested you.  If it is herpes, that does not mean you can "never have ex again."  Lots of people have herpes and lead normal sex lives, with appropriate precautions and medication when needed.  But first you'll have to wait for the tests to come back.
