1cm red papule on my inner thigh

Hello,
I have recently discovered a 1cm red papule on my inner thigh (last week). It's burning, especially during a hot shower, and it grows a little bit every day. Its surface is not smooth.. kind of rough. What could it be? I'm attaching pictures of it:

Should I apply on it a steroid cream, let it go by itself (I'm a little worried about that, since it's growing a few millimeters each day), or go see a dermatologist?

Thank you!

I will be able to see a dermatologist only in two weeks since I'm going on a trip. Could that wait for 2-3 weeks or do I need to get it examined right away?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be seborrheic keratosis. It is a benign skin growth of keratinocytes. A skin biopsy will be helpful in confirming a diagnosis.
I sincerely suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated. Then it has to be differentiated from warts also.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
