Acne on pubic area?

Hi I am a 16 year old male and a month or two ago i noticed 1 or two red bumps on my pubic area, now my current girlfriend is a virgin and anyway i have had sex with it has always been with a condom, they were not painful, i shaved 3 days ago and have been having sex since and had been having sex when the other bumps popped up, now i have a lot of red bumps and these are not very itchy at all really but kind of painful and all over my pubic area, some look to be on the follicles but not all and they go away if i do not have sex, as the others did because i was on break and did not see my girlfriend for a week or so, i dont know if these are just razor burn or anything as i have never shaved my pubic region before this or if it is something more serious, thanks.....

From the symptoms it looks like an infected hair follicle or a boil. Boil is usually due to plugged sweat glands that become infected or by an ingrown hair.

Apply warm compresses on the boil and keep the area clean. Drainage of the boil is done only when it becomes soft and forms a head. Take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription. If the symptoms persist then you can apply topical antibiotics like Neosporin.
