Hi,
Flat warts are flat-topped, slightly raised, nonmalignant lesions darker than your regular skin color. They usually appear on your face, neck, hands, wrists, elbows or knees. HPV infections that cause flat warts usually affect children, adolescents and young adults.
There's no cure for HPV infection. In most cases, your immune system rids your body of the virus, and warts often go away without treatment.

It could ver well be an area of hyper-pigmentation due to the rawness created by your rubbing. You could try a demelanizing OTC cream and see if the patch fades.
If it still persists have it looked at by a skin specialist.
Hello
I am 17 years old and I am freaking out about this little 5mm dark, greyish, flat, circular spot on the glands of my penis though it doesn't hurt or itch.
It has been there for about 8 months now and I'm like going insane because it just doesn't go away and I'm avoiding having to tell my parents and going to a doctor...I'm just praying it goes away on its own but it doesn't =/
I have a similar spot on my leg which is about 4 times bigger but I think it has been there since I was born I'm not sure...=/
I'm worried it could be like melanoma or some cancer or something =[[
Am I going to die?? I don't masterbate too much, maybe twice a week or so; can some one keep me from getting depressed any time soon? Thanks
thank you for your time,i will try it.
I have a series a small "bumps," for lack of a better word, at the base of my penis and some of the pubic area above the penis. These bumps aren't apparent as they are covered by pubic hair. There are even some small bumps on the shaft. I shaved the pubic hair to see if more direct washing may help and dry out the bumps but it has had no effect.
I have no STD, never have and the bumps neither hurt nor itch. I haven't had sex for nearly a year and as I have moved beyond my early thirties, my sex life has been sporadic and occurs in monogamous relationships however long they may last. Nor am I an excessive masturbater, meaning no more than 2-3 times a week.
I seem to recall having a similar bump on my penis as a child which simply went away. The bumps have an almost shiny round appearance.
I would like to know what they are and how I might rid myself of them. If for no other reason, they are quite unseemly in appearance.
Thank you, Jay Lukens
